Over the Shoulder Bolder Holder

*Caution: This post is about #LadyIssues

I’ve started running in the afternoons, even though I HATE running with a passion, because I need to lose a few and because I’m running in the Merrel Down & Dirty Mud Run come June and I don’t want a repeat of the last time I ran it.

Well I needed some new (bigger) workout clothes, so having very little pocket money I went to Target to peruse their fitness clearance.

The item I needed most of all was sports bras.

It’s hard for a well endowed woman like myself to find good sports bras.vintage bra ad cropped

They’re either way too tight, or they don’t provide enough support and the girls end up flying all over the place when I jog. (My route takes me right by a playground and youth center, not exactly the kind of attention one wishes to call to oneself, am I right ladies??)

So I finally found a section of Maximum Support High Intensity sports bras at Target, and they actually had lots of cute colors. I admit here that it had been a very long time since I’d been bra shopping and I could not remember what size I needed.

“36 something…or was it 38? C? Yes it has to be C. Mermaids wear C shells because B shells are too small. But 36 or 38 C?”

Then I remembered I kept a card with my bra size on it in my purse for just such occasions.

“Ah, yes, here it is. Thirty-…!”

My eyes about popped out of my head. I gasped so dramatically that other shoppers turned to check on me.

That’s right. I was stunned by my own bra size.

38 DD.

Double Duty.

Hoooow can they be this big????

I got sized at Victoria’s Secret so I know it’s right. And the 38DD sports bras – which are as large as Target goes in stores btw – fit perfect.

It’s hard out there for a chesty chick, y’all.

They say if you want to get fit and lose weight, then you need lots of support. I don’t think this was the kind of support they were talking about.

Thanks for reading! =)
